and easy to use

The drain cap lets your customers dump their RV waste with no hassle. Place your foot on the cap, the lip pops open, and an RV sewer line can be connected. The caps are tamper-free, so your sewer line stays secure. They can be used as RV dump-station lids, and a padlock or zip-tie locks out unauthorized usage.

Frequently asked questions

How do RV parks use the five cap colors?

Parks color-code sewer caps to mark hookup zones, loops, or service tiers — blue, green, orange, white, and yellow are available. Guests find their assigned section faster, staff can verify site status at a glance, and seasonal or premium loops are visually distinct without extra signage.

Can we lock out empty or unassigned sites?

Yes. Each FootLoose cap accepts a standard padlock or zip-tie, so you can lock the sewer connection at vacant sites, out-of-service hookups, or sites reserved for long-term guests. That stops drive-up dumping at unassigned sites and gives your team a simple, visible control over hookup access.

Do self-closing caps actually reduce odor complaints?

Yes — that's the most common feedback we hear from operators. Because the cap closes itself the moment a guest disconnects, there's never an open sewer sitting between check-out and the next arrival. No odors drifting across the loop, no insects, and far fewer maintenance calls about smells or exposed openings.

Should sewer hookups be capped between guests?

Yes. An open sewer riser releases odor and sewer gases, attracts insects, and is a common flag on health and sanitation inspections. A self-closing cap removes the human factor entirely — the connection reseals automatically every time a hose is disconnected, so compliance doesn't depend on guests or staff remembering to close anything.

Can we retrofit FootLoose caps across an existing park?

Yes, and it's fast. The female version taps onto your existing 4" SCH 40 PVC risers; the male version threads onto standard threaded PVC collars. No glue, no rivets, no plumbing changes — a maintenance tech can convert a site in seconds, so a full loop is typically done in an afternoon.

How much does it cost to equip each site?

FootLoose caps run about $31 per site at list price, before volume discounts. They're made in the USA by Enviro Design Products, and the self-closing design means you're not repurchasing lost or broken slip caps every season.

Do you offer volume pricing for park operators?

Yes. Volume pricing starts at 10+ units, with deeper discounts at 50, 100, and 250+ — enough to cover a loop, a section, or a full park build-out. Call (866) 514-3684 for a same-day quote, and we can mix colors and male/female versions in a single order.

Will FootLoose caps fit my existing PVC?

FootLoose caps fit standard 4" SCH 40 PVC. The female version taps over an unthreaded riser; the male version threads onto a standard threaded PVC collar — no glue or rivets, just tap on with a rubber mallet in a circular motion. Installation guides are linked from the product pages.
