The Cherne® Air-Loc® Joint Tester 48 in. (part #9098) tests individual pipe joints in 48 in. diameter sewer lines with low-pressure air or water. Rather than pressurizing an entire pipe segment, it seals off a single joint so its integrity can be proven — the method used for testing installed pre-cast concrete pipe joints per ASTM C1103.
