The Cherne® Proving Ring, 10 in., 5% Deflection, SDR 35 (part #73210) is a precision verification ring used to confirm that a 10 in. SDR 35 deflection gauge (mandrel) is still sized correctly to the 5% deflection specification. Passing your mandrel through the proving ring before a test run proves the gauge has not been worn, bent, or altered — so your deflection test results hold up when the engineer or municipality asks.
