The Cherne 4" Sure-Grip plug (part #271-408) is a tool-free mechanical test plug for water and air testing on 4" Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 pipe — the most common residential drain size. Rated for 13 PSI / 30 ft. head pressure. The natural rubber body presses into the pipe by hand and expands to seal without tools or inflation. Use it as a temporary test plug for code inspections or a permanent cap on unused 4" stub-outs.
