Cherne® 4" Clean-Out Gripper® Plug

The Cherne 4" Clean-Out Gripper (part #270-188) is a mechanical test plug for 4" NPT threaded cleanout openings — the most common cleanout size in residential and commercial plumbing. Guaranteed to seal most damaged threads. Rated for 17 PSI / 40 ft. head pressure. Fits 4" NPT cleanout fittings in cast iron and DWV pipe (usage range 4.22"–4.60"). Glass-reinforced ABS body with natural rubber threaded O-ring and stainless steel hardware. Wing nut installation — no tools required.
