The Cherne 1-1/2" Sure-Grip plug (part #271-158) is a tool-free mechanical test plug for water and air testing on 1-1/2" Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 pipe. Rated for 22 PSI / 50 ft. head pressure — the highest rating in the Sure-Grip line. Natural rubber body installs by hand without tools, inflation, or gauges. Ideal as both a temporary test plug and a permanent pipe cap on small-diameter DWV lines.
