Cherne ® 8" T-Handle Gripper ® Plug with 3/4" Bypass

The Cherne 8" T-Handle Gripper with Bypass (part #272-957) is a heavy-duty aluminum mechanical test plug with 3/4" NPT male bypass for sewer and storm pipe testing. Rated for 17 PSI / 40 ft. head pressure. Fits 8" concrete, clay, SDR 26, and SDR 35 pipe (usage range 7.7"–8.3" ID). The 12.9 lb plug uses a chemical-resistant neoprene O-ring and zinc-plated steel T-handle for reliable expansion in underground applications. The 3/4" bypass allows controlled flow during testing.
