Cherne 8" Iron Grip Bypass Plug, 4.3 PSI, ½" Bypass

The Cherne 8" Iron Grip Bypass Plug (part #268-088) is a heavy-duty cast iron mechanical test plug with 1/2" NPT bypass for 8" sewer and storm pipe. Rated for 4.3 PSI / 10 ft. head pressure. Fits 8" pipe (usage range 7.72"–8.2" ID). At 11.5 lbs and 17" long, this is a substantial plug built for municipal and industrial applications. Cast iron body with natural rubber O-ring and large wing nut.
