About Koby Environmental
Koby Environmental manufactures the Torquer and FlushLock lines of locking well plugs — the hardware that gets written into remediation plans by name. Environmental consultants, Phase II ESA firms, water utilities, and remediation contractors across the country specify Koby plugs because the nylon expansion design won’t corrode in aggressive groundwater chemistry, and the liquid-tight seal holds through years of field exposure and freeze-thaw cycling.

FAQ
What’s the difference between Torquer and FlushLock?
Torquer plugs have a wing-nut that you turn to expand the seal, and they extend above the casing. FlushLock plugs sit flush with the top of the pipe and require a proprietary key for removal — designed for wells in paved areas where an above-grade plug would be a hazard.
Are Koby plugs compatible with all PVC well casings?
Koby plugs are available in both SCH 40 and SCH 80 to match the internal diameter of your specific casing. A SCH 40 plug will not seal correctly in SCH 80 pipe. Confirm your casing schedule before ordering.
Why nylon instead of metal?
Nylon won’t corrode in aggressive groundwater chemistry. Metal expansion plugs can rust, seize, or contaminate samples. Koby’s all-nylon design is inert in the well environment and maintains a reliable seal over years of exposure.
Do you carry the FlushLock key?
Yes. The FlushLock key is sold separately and is required to install and remove FlushLock plugs. It’s the same key for all FlushLock sizes.
