The Cherne® 1 ½" End-of-Pipe Gripper® Plug is a versatile and reliable mechanical plug that can be used in various applications, including DWV (drain, waste, and vent) testing and stack testing. Unlike other plugs, the end-of-pipe design ensures that it won't fall into the pipe during testing, providing peace of mind.

This plug is designed to withstand a maximum back pressure of 17 PSI or 40 ft. of head pressure, making it suitable for a wide range of testing scenarios. It features an easy-to-install extra-large zinc wing nut that won't rust, ensuring durability and longevity. The natural rubber O-ring provides excellent expansion and memory, ensuring a tight and secure seal. Additionally, the galvanized carriage bolt prevents corrosion, further enhancing the plug's durability.

Made with glass-reinforced ABS plastic, this plug is built to last. It is specifically designed to seal only at the end of a pipe, allowing for efficient testing without obstructing the flow.

The Cherne® 1 ½" End-of-Pipe Gripper® Plug has a nominal size of 1 1/2" and can be used in pipes with a usage range of 1.48"-1.65". Its compact length of 1.75" ensures easy installation and removal.
