The gripNlock is the only watertight hinging monitoring well cap in the environmental industry. Mallet driven installed, the new "gripNlock", is a redesigned version of the old Snap Cap. This new tamperproof Cap is instantly watertight and secured when tapped in place.
Above and below grade monitoring well locking cap.
2" and 4" (fits SCH 40 & 80)
Heavy duty Nylon construction, w/ high impact, heat resistant, UV protected w/ chemical resistant properties. This cap is completely inert, and has a square UV Protective Gasket.
Multiple concentric rings placed in the base of the cap provide maximum security and added watertight integrity to the well. The top of the cap has a large API warning label where a well #___ space is provided. The cap is colored in a highly recognizable orange for both below grade and above grade protective riser pipes.
